Kwesi Appiah training is Black Stars

The Black Stars technical team is in the UK for a 10-day trip to some of the footballing institutions Britain has to offer.

And Liverpool have been earmarked for a special visit by Ghana coach Kwesi Appiah and four of his assistants.

Appiah is hoping to pick up some valuable tips from their visit to title challengers Liverpool, where he will be shown around Anfield.

The trip also includes some time with the League Managers Association and the Football Association's training centre at St George's Park, say the Ghana Football Association.

"It is really essential because it helps to keep your focus and also be on top of issues," Appiah said.

"I'm looking forward to it and I know in the long run Ghana stand to gain from it."

Ghana have been drawn in World Cup Group G alongside Germany, Portugal and the United States.
