Ghana defender Baba Abdul Rahman continued his remarkable form for Greuther-Fuerth in their 1-1 draw at home to Karlsruher SC.

Rahman, 19, has become an important piece for the German outfit since he joined two years ago.

The former Asante Kotoko defender was at his usual best at the left back where he kept his opponents at bay with his cultured foot.

The African super talent is hoping to be included in Ghana’s squad for the 2014 FIFA World Cup and confident his consistent displays for the German outfit will prove the catalyst.

“We played well but unfortunately we could not pick the maximum points,” he told GHANAsoccernet.com

“We have to keep fighting hard to ensure we return to the Bundesliga next season.

“I’m happy with my form but there can always be improvement for every player.

“ I am focused on my game here to see what happens in the future.”

The former Under-20 star  is considered to be one of the rising stars of Ghanaian football and he is originally owned by third tier side Dreams FC.
