Ghana defender David Addy is looking to take his career to the next level following his move to Vitoria Guimaraes.
The 22-year-old sealed a two-year move from Portuguese giants FC Porto last week to end his two-year stay of stricken first team opportunities at the Dragao.
The ex Randers FC player took part in his first training session with his new side on Monday to kick start a prospectively fruitful stint this term in the Portuguese top flight.
And Addy, after putting his Porto woes behind says he is ready to get his career back on track by having a ‘great’ season.
“I’m looking forward to a great season and my target is to make the best out of this season and pick up my career to the next level,” he told GHANAsoccernet.com.
The 2009 U-20 World Cup winner was loaned out twice during his time at Porto.
First to Academica Coimbra and then to Greek club Panetolikos where he made 25 first team appearances and scored three goals.
