Ghana international defender Jerry Akaminko has been handed a two-match ban by the Turkish Superlig Disciplinary Board, GHANAsoccernet.com can confirm.

The 25-year-old gets the punishment as further sanction for a red card he picked during Eskisehirspor's 0-0 stalemate with Rizespor in a Superlig game last weekend.

Akaminko has already missed a game as he could not play for Eskisehirspor in their 1-0 home defeat against Antalyaspor in midweek.

In Monday's home tie against Gençlerbirli?i, the defender will have to watch the game from the stands as he will be serving the last game of his ban.

The former Heart of Lions defender has made 24 league appearances for Eskisehirspor this season.
