Ghana defender Andy Yiadom named in Championship team of the season

Ghana defender Andy Yiadom's outstanding performance for Barnsley in the English Championship has earned his a place in the team of the 2016/17 Championship season.

The Black Stars full back enjoyed a glamorous 2016/17 season with The Tykes that saw him earning his debut Black Stars call and an appearance at the 2017 AFCON in Gabon.

The 25-year old right back made 30 appearance in the English second tier with 16 of those coming as an attacking player on the flanks.

The England-born Ghanaian provided three assists during the season and had no red card throughout the season.

The energetic full back averages 2.2 tackles per game and 1.9 dribble per 90 minutes according to www.whoscored.com.
