Ghana defender Awal Mohammed has received stitches on his head after clashing with Senegalese international Mame Niang during an Absa Premier League game.
The 25-year-old collided with the SuperSport United forward during a 3-1 victory last Wednesday and underwent a minor operations on his head.
However the injury could not prevent the former Asante Kotoko defender to play this weekend as he featured in their 1-0 victory over Golden Arrows.
