Ghana and Raja Casablanca defender Awal Mohammed is confident the arrival of Ghana Premier League top scorer Nathaniel Asamoah will boost Raja Casablanca.

Asamoah, signed a three year deal with the Green Castle earlier in the week after passing a medical on Wednesday.

The striker who has had stints with Red Stars Belgrade in the past has scored 18 goals in 22 appearances for Ghana Premier League side Medeama.

Awal Mohammed who also joined Raja Casablanca earlier in the summer says Asamoah's arrival is added boost to the club.

“Nathaniel is one player I know very well and I am delighted that he has finally joined us,” Awal told GHANAsoccernet.com

“He will make us stronger and as he is always determined to score goals.”

“We have an intention of winning the league this season and we are looking forward to that already.”

Asamoah arrival now means that there are three Ghanaians with Raja Casablanca after Yakubu Mohammed also signed for them a couple of weeks ago.
