Ghana defender Daniel Amartey reclaimed his spot in the FC Copenhagen line-up and lasted the entire duration of the game as the Danish side recorded a slim 1-0 victory over Czech Republican side FK Jablonec on Wednesday.

The 20-year-old versatile defender was deployed his usual position in central midfield by Copenhagen head coach Stale Solbakken and flourished in the middle helping them to pick a vital away win.

Amartey missed Copenhagen's last Europa League game after failing to secure a UK visa for his team's trip to Wales to play Newtown, a game they handsomely won 3-1.

Copenhagen are poised to reach the group stages of the Europa League competition.
