Ghana defender Daniel Opare believes he can achieve massive career improvement at FC Porto under coach Julen Lopetegui.

The versatile full-back is delighted to working with the man who has built a reputation of working with the youth.

Lopetegui guided Spain's Under-19s and Under-21s to European Championship victories.

Opare is optimistic the 47-year-old former Real Madrid and Barcelona star can improve his stock

"He is a good coach. He has plenty of experience with youngsters and in the few days I’ve been here, I see things are starting to shape up and we are improving,” the former Real Madrid youth team player said.

Opare joined the Dragons on a free transfer after leaving Belgian side Standard Liege at the end of the season.
