Ghana defender David Addy is suspended for Vitoria Guimaraes’ league game against Arouca on Thursday.

The 21-year-old must serve a mandatory one-game ban for reaching the limit for accumulated yellow cards.

Addy’s suspension leaves coach Rui Vitoria short on options with Tomane and Malonga all serving out bans.

Vitoria has therefore called up four players from the club’s youth side to fill the void created by the various suspensions.

Addy will only return to play for Vitoria Guimaraes when the Portuguese top flight resumes on May 4 when they travel to face Academica.

Addy has been very consistent for the Conquerors this season and has made 16 starts in their 27 games played in the league this season.
