Ghana defender Edwin Gyimah is set to make a return into the South African PSL after he was spotted training with Champions Bidvset Wits.

Gyimah who made a switch to Swedish side Helsingborg IF a few months ago has returned to South Africa where he previously played for Orlando Pirates, SuperSport United and Mpumalanga Black Aces.

Gyimah left Orlando Pirates to join Helsingborg IF after a fall out with Coach Muhsin Ertugral.

The combative defender who has just 8 caps in his 5-year national team career could sign for the PSL Champions in the January transfer window.

Gyimah, 24, could make a move to his fourth PSL side in his playing career if the move to Bidvest Wits is successful.

The former WA All Stars defender played a role to see Helsingborg finish 7th in the Swedish top-flight at the end of the season.

Wits will be embarking on a campaign in Africa next year and the services of the Ghanaian player who has a rich experience in the CAF Champions League having played in the competition with Orlando Pirates will prove very phenomenal for the side.
