Boss Claudio Ranieri was visible excited to have one of his trusted lieutenant back after two months of lay off.

Schlupp trained full throttle and never pulled out of a tackle in a high intensity training session held on Monday afternoon.

Leicester lead the English Premier League table with two points after victory over Manchester City and a last gasp defeat to Arsenal a week ago.

The Ghana internationals return is a priceless lift to the Foxes who are set for twelve finals in their aim to re-write the history books by winning the English Premier League.

Black Stars coach Avram Grant will also be boosted with news of Schlupp's return ahead of the 2017 AFCON qualifier against Mozambique next month.
