Professional Football Disciplinary Board of the Turkey Football Federation handed down the punishment on the Ghanaian on Tuesday night, Ghana's leading football news organisation has reveal.

Akaminko, who plays for Eskisehirspor, was banned following last week's incident during their match against Akhisar Belediyespor.

The suspension has been seen as harsh in many quarter which has prompted an Eskisehirspor meeting on Wednesday morning to decide whether to appeal the decision or not.

If Akaminko is made to serve the three-match, it would be a huge blow for Eskisehirspor as he is an intergral and key member of their squad.
