Eskisehirsporââ¬â¢s Ghana defender Jerry Akaminko could be in action in the next couple of weeks following a step up in his recovery exercise.
Akaminko, 26, injured his ankle after landing awkwardly in Ghanaââ¬â¢s pre-World Cup friendly against Holland.
He was ruled out of the World Cup and is yet to feature for his Turkish side since the start of the 2014/2015 season.
The ex-Lions defender has been put through a series of sensitive medical treatment as he prepares to make a return to the field.
He is in line to make Eskisehirsporââ¬â¢s team for the first time this season after the international break.
Akaminkoââ¬â¢s return will boost Ghanaââ¬â¢s chances at the 2015 Africa Cup of Nations tournament if qualification is sealed this month.
