Ghana center-back John Boye has revealed he will not be available for selection for Stade Rennes' in their Coupe de France tie against Valenciennes on Saturday.

The 26-year-old was expected to make a comeback from a long injury lay-off which saw him miss Ghana's World Cup qualifiers against Egypt but he has confirmed to GHANAsoccernet.com he will not be in the Stade Rennes squad for the game at the Route de la Lorient.

Boye told GHANAsoccernet.com: "No I'm not in the squad. I've to take my time and get back fully fit and ready."
