Ghana and Evian defender Jonathan Mensah revealed his delight for Ghanaian players in the UEFA Champions on Tuesday night.

Chelsea defender Baba Abdul-Rahman started and provided a sweet assist as Chelsea brushed aside a rather weak Maccabi Tel-Aviv side.

The game in Israel was the 21-year-old defender's third game for Chelsea in the competition this season.

Imposing defender Nana Akwesi Asare produced a dominant display to enable Gent post a memorable 2-1 victory over Lyon on the same night Rahman was making waves in Israel.

Jonathan Mensah who plays for French division two side Evian could not hide his delight on how the two Ghanaians performed on the night.
