Jonathan Mensah was sent in Evian TG defeat.

Ghana midfielder Jonathan Mensah was sent off in Evian TG’s 3-0 defeat at Olympique Marseille in the French Ligue 1 on Sunday afternoon.

The centre-back picked two yellow cards for a tackle in the 39th minute when his side were already down 1-0 courtesy a Bafétimbi Gomis goal.

Lyon scored the second goal on 43 minutes through Alexandre Lacazette who scored the third in the 76th minute.

Mensah was making his 18 Ligue 1 appearance for Evian TG.

The 23-year-old is wanted by Greek Super League side Olympiacos.
