Ghana defender Lee Addy says he is pleased with the way heââ¬â¢s progressing in the treatment room.
The 23-year-old is on the mend after he suffered a serious knee injury during Dinamo Zagrebââ¬â¢s top-flight game against Rijeka early March.
The Ghanaian international is working on an individual programme and has not resumed training with the squad.
ââ¬ÅIââ¬â¢m recuperating from the injury and I am happy with my progress so far,â⬠he said
ââ¬ÅItââ¬â¢s been terrible sitting on the sidelines but injury is part of the game.
ââ¬ÅThere is the possibility of returning to the pitch quicker-than-expected.
ââ¬ÅI want to be back and get involved to help my side. The injury is just a minor setback.ââ¬
It is hoped he can get some match action under his belt before the end of the season and so give himself a late run for Ghana's World Cup squad.
He has been out of the Black Stars since June 2012 when he was named in the squad which lost 1-0 to Zambia in Ndola in a 2014 World Cup qualifier.
Addy has made 16 league appearances for the Croatian outfit à this season and regarded a key player for the leaders.
