Ghana midfielder Mohammed Rabiu donates cash plus items to alma mater Konongo Odumase Senior High School

Russia-based Mohammed Rabiu has made a donation of GHS 7,000 and football equipments to his former High School Konongo Odumasi.

The Kuban Krasnodar midfielder made the presentation to the school based in the Ashanti-Akim Municipality of the Ashanti Region on Tuesday.

The items included five sets of jersey’s, three bags of football boots, exercise books.

“God should richly bless Rabiu Mohammed for remembering us and where he came from. He brought us an amount of 7,000 Ghana Cedis, Five sets of Football Jersey’s, three bags of boots, and 170 exercise books,” headmistress Comfort Odehe told Goal.com

“He has been doing the donation often and it is very good from him, during our 50th anniversary, he gave us a cheque. I thank him on behalf of the whole school

“I will entreat others to learn from Rabiu and come and help the school. Parents should also not hinder or deter their wards who are in top position and wants to come and give back to school.”
