Ghana defender Daniel Opare claims heââ¬â¢s comfortable at playing both the right and left back positions in the Black Stars.
The 23-year-old is seen as a natural right-back but has been used in a make-shift left-back role when representing his country.
Opare, who plays for Belgium side Standard Liege, was drafted into the left-back role position during the World Cup first leg 6-1 demolishing of Egypt in Kumasi in October last year where he excelled.
However the former Real Madrid youth star claims he can play à both roles with no difficulties.
ââ¬ÅI can play both roles. I have no difficult with it at all,â⬠he told Happy FM
ââ¬ÅI have played at the right and left back positions many times and so I have no issues with that at all.
ââ¬ÅAnywhere they put me, I can deliver. As far as Iââ¬â¢m concerned, thatââ¬â¢s the most important thing.
ââ¬ÅAt Standard Liege, I have played at the two positions on a number of times.
ââ¬ÅEven at Ashantigold, I was a central defender. And so for me anywhere you put me at the back, Iââ¬â¢m comfortable.ââ¬
Opareââ¬â¢s versatility puts him shades ahead of his competitors ahead of the 2014 World Cup in Brazil.
He is seen as a key figure of the current Black Stars squad and likely to make the countryââ¬â¢s à squad to the global showpiece.
