Ghana lateral defender Daniel Opare returned to full scale training for Portuguese giants FC Porto on Thursday, GHANAsoccernet.com can confirm. 

The 23-year-old joined the rest of the Porto squad on Thursday after sitting out of training on Wednesday as they continued their pre-season under new manager Julen Lopetegui.

Opare joined the Porto squad in Portugal slightly fit after picking an injury while playing for Ghana at the 2014 World Cup.

Porto team doctors limited his sessions on Wednesday and did not allow him to join with the first team squad at the club. But on  the former Real Madrid Castilla player returned to full scale training as he joined the rest of the Porto squad.

He is expected to feature prominently in the Porto squad for the season but must work out his place in the regular squad.
