Owusu Bempah scores for Vojvodina

Ghana defender Joseph Owusu Bempah continued his superb start to Serbian SuperLiga with Vojvodina as he scored again in their 2-0 victory over Borac on Wednesday night.

Bempah, who was far off his best in his first start for club in their 1-0 home win against Backa over the weekend, was given another opportunity by coach Nenad Vanić.

The former Ghana youth captain did not disappoint this time around against Borac as he opened the scoring in the 26th minute after ghosting the host defense to slot the ball past goalkeeper Vladimir Bajic.

Vojvodina wrapped up the three points in the 79th minute through Stefan Mihajlovic.

The 21-year-old enjoyed full throttle as the Red and Whites move to the top of the pack with 12 points from four games.

He is currently sitting third on the scorers chart with three goals from four outings.
