Ghana defender Rashid Sumaila is looking forward to winning the Asian Federation Cup with Al Qadsia after helping his side record an emphatic 3-0 first leg victory over Jaish.

Goals from Bader Al Mutawa, Doris Salomo and Fahad Al Ansari gave the Kuwaiti side a commanding 3-0 win away in the Syria.

Ghana international Rashid Sumaila played full throttle and kept in a decent shift to help his side cop up the win.

"It was a good game and we showed our character in every department of the game," Sumaila said

"The first leg has been sealed and we are looking ahead to the second with the same seriousness we have attached to this one."

"The aim is to win the Asian federation cup and that is certainly what we are doing."

Sumaila signed a two year contract with Al Qadsia this summer after initially impressing out on loan last season.
