Ghana defender Samuel Inkoom is delighted to be regaining his regular form at Greek club Platanias.

The 24-year-old joined the Reds in January on loan from Ukrainian side FC Dnipro where he was frozen out of the first team.

Inkoom however appears to be hitting his best form again just in time for the 2014 World Cup.

The right back provided two assists in Platanias’ historic 7-0 thrashing of Kalloni over the weekend which earned the praise of his coach Angelos Anastasiadis.

And the former Basel man is only grateful to be enjoying his football again following a turbulent period while with Dnipro.

“Football is all about the hardwork, confidence and how well you psyche yourself,” he told Metro FM.

“Everyone knew the problems I was going through while I was in Ukraine.

“But thankfully that is behind me and this coach has the confidence in me.

“And therefore I am motivated to put in the extra effort to ensure the team moves forward.”

If your performance in the Montenegro match is anything to go by then I must say you have already dropped down the perking already. More so, you have been given more than enough opportunities to proof yourself but failed and this has to stop by giving others like Jerry Akaminko, Rashid Sumaila, Nana Akwasi Asare, Jeffrey schlup, Sulley Nuru, Kwabena Adusei, and Abeiku Ainooson to also show us what they can do as far as the fullback positions are concerned. So please, stop this PR because your performance has betrayed you. ‘Agoro beso a efiri anapa'. Anyway the decision lies with AA but for me the answer is NO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!.
