Ghana defender Samuel Inkoom is delighted to be regaining his regular form at Greek club Platanias.

The 24-year-old joined the Reds in January on loan from Ukrainian side FC Dnipro where he was frozen out of the first team.

Inkoom however appears to be hitting his best form again just in time for the 2014 World Cup.

The right back provided two assists in Platanias’ historic 7-0 thrashing of Kalloni over the weekend which earned the praise of his coach Angelos Anastasiadis.

And the former Basel man is only grateful to be enjoying his football again following a turbulent period while with Dnipro.

“Football is all about the hardwork, confidence and how well you psyche yourself,” he told Metro FM.

“Everyone knew the problems I was going through while I was in Ukraine.

“But thankfully that is behind me and this coach has the confidence in me.

“And therefore I am motivated to put in the extra effort to ensure the team moves forward.”
