Ghana duo Daniel Amartey and Jeffery Schlupp will not get any bonus if their side win the English Premier League this season.

The Mail has reported that not one Leicester player will get any additional payout if they manage to win the league this season, with every incentive emphasised on securing Premier League survival in pre-season.

The Foxes were tipped by many for the drop in pre-season, after they narrowly escaped relegation last season, then sacked the man who helped them achieve it- Nigel Pearson.

His successor Claudio Ranieri was also touted for similar misery this season, with bookmakers favouring him to be the first manager to be sacked.

In reality, he's surely set for manager of the season and a Premier League title to go with it if he can pull off what would be one of the most remarkable achievements in the history of this division.

However, no one will be rewarded if they do manage to claim the impossible. Bonuses were drawn up for the playing staff before the season began, and with many figures at the club expecting another relegation dogfight, the payout was put entirely into surviving.

That means the players will claim the same amount of money for finishing 12th as they would for 1st. Boss Ranieri had previously been rewarding his players with pizza during the season for good results, and would surely come up with some kind of prize were his team to make history this summer.

Leicester will face their biggest test yet in their unlikely title race, with a trip to the Emirates to take on fellow hopefuls Arsenal.
