Ghana pair Jonathan Mensah and Rabiu Mohammed will play under Pascal Dupraz at Ligue 1 side Evian Thonon Gaillard after he was confirmed new manager on Tuesday.

Pascal Dupraz, Evian's former sporting director, replaces Uruguayan coach Pablo Correa who was sacked on Monday after their 2-0 defeat at Ajaccio last Saturday.

An Evian statement confirms the appointment.

"The Evian Thonon Gaillard board announces that Pablo Correa has been relieved of his functions as head coach due to the current run of poor results. The first team will now be coached by Pascal Dupraz, hitherto the club's sporting director."

Rabiu Mohammed saw regular playing time under Correa at the later stages last season in the Ligue 1.

While defender Jonathan Mensah, who has returned from a long term injury lay-off is expected to feature in the plans of the new manager.
