David Laryea and A.S Malik have passed their fitness tests in the on-going advanced referee’s course in Cairo.

The Ghana duo are amongst a host of top class referees across the African continent taking the course in the Egyptian capital.

Results of participants in the advanced course will be used to settle on the final referees to be used at the 2013 Africa Cup of Nations in South Africa.

Information reaching GHANAsoccernet.com  holds that the Ghana duo excelled in their physical fitness tests taken early Friday morning ahead of the official opening ceremony to take place later on in the day.

They will however have to pass the subsequent medical and academical tests to achieve a high rank in the final assessment.

Ghana has been without a representative on the referee’s front at the Nations Cup since the retirement of Alex Quartey.
