Ghana FA to address press conference today over World Cup failure

Ghanaians will find out why the Black Stars failed to reach the second phase of the World Cup and the reasons which affected the team in Brazil on Monday.

In the wake of Ghana's exit from the FIFA World Cup in the group stage, the Ghana Football Association will hold a press conference in Accra.

Before the press conference is held, the Executive Committee of the GFA will meet to peruse the reports from the country's participation in the World Cup.

They will address various issues including discipline, the late arrival of the appearance fees for the players, tactics by coach Kwesi Appiah and the real reasons for the axing of Kevin Prince Boateng and Sulley Muntari.

Ghana FA president Kwesi Nyantakyi and coach Kwesi Appiah will address the press.

The press conference to be held at the Alisa Hotel at 1.00pm today will address the national team's participation in the tournament.

Ghana made their third-straight appearance at the World Cup in Brazil.
