Legendary Ghana U20 coach Sellas Tetteh has returned as the Black Satellites trainer following his appointment by the Ghana Football Association.

A Ghana FA Executive Committee meeting last Thursday ratified his appointment to lead the team at the 2013 African Youth Championship finals in Algeria.

Tetteh, who won the 2009 FIFA U20 World Cup, will be substantive boss of the team due to the busy schedule of stop-gap coach Maxwell Kondau with the senior national team.

Konadu took temporary reigns following the resignation of Orlando Wellington early this year and qualified them to the African Youth Championship in emphatic style.

But his commitments with the Black Stars means that the GFA has turned to the magic of Tetteh who guided in squad of 2009 to conquer West Africa, Africa and the World.

Tetteh has been technical director at Ghana Premier League Liberty Professionals since leaving his post as Rwanda national team coach in September last year.

Last week, Indian Premier League side Prayag United claimed holding talks with him to take charge of their youth side.

Ghana have been drawn in Group A alongside hosts Algeria, Benin and Egypt for the tournament which will be played from March 6-30.
