Ghana FA boss Kwesi Nyantakyi debunks Stephen Appiah and Richard Kingston appointment reports

President of the Ghana Football Association (GFA) Kwesi Nyantakyi has discredited reports that the FA has appointed Stephen Appiah and Richard Kingston as team manager and goalkeeper's trainer respectively. 

Reports went rife after the appointment of Kwesi Appiah as the head coach of the Black Stars that, the Ghana FA has settled on former Black Stars captain Stephen Appiah and Richard Kingston for a role under the 56-year-old coach.

But, the Ghana FA capo has categorically dismissed the reports.

 

"Nobody has been appointed as at now apart from Kwesi Appiah, in future we would consider all other appointment but we want the Black Stars to win trophies so who ever would be appointment would have that as an objective,” Mr Nyantakyi said in an interview.

The FA president recently revealed that the association is considering appointing two assistant Coaches to support Kwesi Appiah manage the Black Stars and the Local Black stars as well.
