The President of the Ghana Football Association Kwesi Nyantakyi has revealed that he is not aware of the current bonus structure of the Black Stars since Nii Lante Vanderpuye took over as the Minister of Youth and Sports.
Reports emerged in the media that the Sports Minister, upon assuming office has reduced the bonus of the Black Stars from $10,000 to $8000.
But the Ghana FA Boss insists that he does not know of that as he also heard it in the media.
“I am ignorant of that. I am not aware of anything like that. I also heard it in the media that the bonus of the Black Stars has been reduced,” Nyantakyi told Starr FM.
“I have not received any letter on that and I don’t know whether it is true.
“In any case, I think it will be proper for us to meet and discuss issues. It is possible that we can reduce the bonus or even increase it,” he added.
The Sports Minister, a known critic of the Nyantakyi-led Ghana FA has made a lot of condemning comments about the Ghana FA but the FA Boss insist they are all not factually correct.
