Ghana FA boss pays glowing tribute to Hearts on 103rd anniversary

Ghana FA boss Kwesi Nyantakyi has paid glowing tribute to giants Hearts of Oak who are marking their 103rd anniversary today (Tuesday), labeling them as pacesetters.

The Ghanaian giants is the oldest club in Ghana and have won many successes including the CAF Champions League and the Confederation Cup.

The club has lined up series of low profile activities to mark the day with a procession from the birth ground of the club through some principal streets in the capital.

The Ghana FA boss has heaped praise on the club for their immense contribution to the growth of football in the West African football.

“I just remembered that Tuesday is 11th and it’s Hearts of Oak’s birthday,” he said

“I wish them a happy birthday, from the board, to the management, players and the fans, I wish them well and I hope they continue from where they started.”
