Ghana FA president Kwesi Nyantakyi says he is prepared to appear before the 2014 World Cup commission despite the reservation by FIFA about the terms of reference of the body.

Justice Senyo Dzamefe's Presidential Commission started its sitting in Accra on Monday under the cloud of suspicion that the GFA is not interested in appearing before them.

That is because FIFA warned that the world governing body could ban Ghana if issues of direct management of the Black Stars are perused at the commission as it violates the independence laws of the world governing body.

Much of the commission's hearing hinges on the appearance of the GFA and despite the worries about FIFA's concerns, Ghana FA chief Nyantakyi says he is ready to appear.

"I've not been invited and if am invited I will attend," Nyantakyi said.

This comes as a welcome news for the commission which has so far not indicated its intention of inviting the Ghana FA following the FIFA letter warning them about the remit of the probe.
