Ghana FA confirms U20 squad numbers for FIFA World Cup in Turkey

The Ghana Football Association has confirmed the Black Satellites squad numbers for the 2013 FIFA U20 World Cup which begins next Friday in Turkey.

Talented midfielder Frank Acheampong, whose jinking skills have earned comparisons with World Footballer of the Year Lionel Messi, has opted for the number 7 shirt.

Striker Richmond Boakye-Yiadom will be identified by number 20 and diminutive dribbler Clifford Aboagye maintains his number 10 jersey from the African Youth Championship.

Inter Milan's Alfred Duncan will be wearing number 6 and Baba Abdul Rahman chose the number 5 jersey.

Centre-back Daniel Pappoe, captain of Chelsea's reserve side, was handed the number 11 jersey.

Ghana's top scorer at the African tournament Ebenezer Assifuah has kept his number 17 shit.

The Black Satellites will play their final test match on Saturday against Brazil at Valais Youth Cup in Switzerland.

Ghana's Group A opener is against France on 21 June before engaging Spain and USA.
