The Executive Committee of the Ghana Football Association will hold an emergency meeting today (Thursday) to deliberate on the way forward for the start of the Ghana Premier League and Division One League following Olympic’s injunction on the league again.

The disgruntled and agitated Accra club has filed for a second injunction on the start of the league after their first application for an interlocutory injunction was dismissed by an Accra High Court.

The Ghana FA ExCo will therefore meet this morning to hold talks to see how the issues hindering the start of the Ghana Premier League and DOL could be settled amicably.

The Wonder Club is seeking for redress in court following unsatisfactory decisions from the Disciplinary Committee and Appeals Committees of the FA.

An earlier application for an injunction was thrown out by an Accra High Court but, unsatisfied with the decision, Olympic have filed for another injunction to stop the leagues which were supposed to start this weekend.
