The Ghana Football Association’s Executive Committee will on Thursday decide whether to appeal CAF’s decision to disqualify them from the 2015 African Junior Championship.

CAF on Wednesday announced that its Appeal Board has upheld the decision taken by the Organising Committee of the U-17 African championship to ban Ghana from playing in the tournament.

Ghana were banned after a protest by Cameroon over the MRI test of one of the players of the Black Starlets.

The Ghana federation filed an appeal to deny claims they had used and over age player in their qualifier in the first leg of their game against Cameroon but CAF threw it out

Ghana has ten days from the day of the ruling to appeal at the court of arbitration of sport.
