The Ghana Football Association (GFA) has sent a heart warming message to Jordan Ayew for winning THREE GONGS at the Swansea City end of season awards.

The Black Stars attacker was the biggest winner at Swansea City's end of season awards on Wednesday night clinching all the top three awards at the Liberty Stadium.

The son of Ghana legend Abedi Pele won the Players’ Player of the Season, Goal of the Season and Top Goalscorer of the Season awards for his excellent showing this season.

This has sparked the GFA to send its public congratulatory message for the player who has been outstanding for the English Premier League side this season.

"BIG CONGRATULATIONS to #Ghana striker Jordan Ayew for winning the Players' Player of the Year, Top scorer and Best Goal of the Season at the @SwansOfficial awards night," the GFA statement said on Twitter.

The message elicited an immediate response for the softly-spoken striker whose heroics has kept Swansea City with a slim chance of beating the drop.

The Ghanaian won the top scorer award after netting 11 goals so far this season and contributing to many other goals this season.

He also grabbed the Goal of the Season award as his strike goal against Wolves was voted by the supporters of the club as the best of the season for the Swans.

The crowing moment came when his own team-mates voted him as Players’ Player of the Season, beating off competition from Lukasz Fabianski and Alfie Mawson.

Ayew's international’s key contribution to the club’s fight against relegation was recognised by his team-mates and supporters of the club at the big event.

It becomes perhaps the biggest win for a Ghanaian player in the top five leagues in Europe this season as his outstanding performances were recognised.
