The Black Stars will enjoy the services of an additional expert video analyst at the 2014 World Cup.

The Ghana FA has decided to employ the head of video analysis of English giants Manchester City as part of plans to strengthen the technical team for June's tournament in Brazil.

The additional expert will be working alongside Michael Okyere who is the substantive video analyst of the Black Stars.

"We are bringing in an extra video analyst for the World Cup, meaning we will have two of them," Ghana FA boss Kwesi Nyantakyi disclosed to Hot FM.

"He is the head of video analysis at Manchester City.

"He is the one who analyses for the first team of Manchester City."

The extra video analyst is one of several other experts being appointed by the Ghana FA as members of the Black Stars' back room staff for the World Cup.

The support team includes famous Serbian therapist Mariana Kovacevic, an additional doctor and masseur.

They are being contracted on a short-term basis solely to help Ghana's third successive appearance at the World Cup finals.
