The Ghana Football Association's motion to throw out the case preventing it from holding its presidential election has been adjourned.

The plaintiff John Kwame Quayson failed to show up and had written to the court to have the case adjourned to August 17which is the date for Congress.  But the Fast Track High Court judge quashed their request and set a new date 05 August.

Quayson secured an injunction to stop the Ghana FA from going to the poll in Tamale by halting the electoral process.

The Ghana FA opened nominations and only incumbent Kwesi Nyantakyi returned his forms.  Nyantakyi is set to be re-elected for another four-year term.
