The Ghana Football Association has sent their condolences to the South Africa FA following the death of Bafana Bafana assistant coach Thomas Madigage.
Madigage died in a car crash in the early hours of last Friday after hitting a donkey crossing a road near Burgersfort, Limpopo.
He was 41.
A statement on the Ghana FA website on Tuesday read: “The Ghana Football Association wishes to express its condolences to the bereaved family and the entire football family of South Africa.
“The death of Thomas Madigage is a great loss to African Football.
“We wish to urge the Bafana Bafana and for that matter the South Africa Football Association to stay strong and focus in their endeavours during these difficult times.
“Please, accept once again our heartfelt condolences.”
