Ghana FA president Kwesi Nyantakyi facing state arrest over 'defrauding by false pretense' charge

Ghana president Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo is reported to have directed the arrest of the Football Association president Kwesi Nyantakyi for defrauding by false pretense.

According to the breaking news story on Accra-based Joy News TV, the directive has been  issued to the CID to have the CAF 1st vice-president apprehended.

Nyantakyi is said to have been captured on tape in an investigative documentary by ace investigative journalist Anas Aremeyaw Anas.

Nyantakyi was seen negotiating for an amount of money using the name of the president and his vice.

It is unknown if the FIFA Council member is in the country or abroad on duty.
