The Ghana Football Association will hand permanent deals to Black Stars physical trainer and video analyst Gerald Nus, president Kwesi Nyantakyi has confirmed.

The duo joined the Black Stars technical team set up on the recommendations for head coach Avram Grant for the just ended Africa Cup of Nations.

It is thought that they contributed immensely to the Ghana’s expected silver-winning feat in Equatorial Guinea.

The Ghana FA also wants them to extend their services to other national teams and will be at the 2015 African Youth Championship to assist the Black Stars.

“The inclusion of these professionals has proven to be a very useful experience and so the Football Association is considering to make it a permanent feature of the technical team so that we can enjoy the benefits of the solaces of these people and we will even extend the solaces beyond the Black Stars to the other six national team,” Nyantakyi told Joy FM.

England-born Jamaica international Lawrence played for English Premier League side Leicester.

Nus has experience working in a number of countries around the globe, including alongside compatriot Rafael Benitez at Liverpool FC as a part of the reserve coaching staff.

He worked under Uruguayan Gustavo Poyet at Brighton as the Head of Academy Coaching before leaving via mutual consent in January of 2013.
