Ghana FA spokesman Ibrahim Sannie has absolute confidence in the country’s Local Black Stars to win this year’s CHAN tournament in South Africa.

Coach Maxwell Konadu has named a strong 23-man squad for the biannual tournament which kick starts next week Saturday.

The squad comprising of top players from the Ghanaian Premier League are touted as one of the favourite to win the title.

Ghana FA spokesman Ibrahim Sannie says the ex-Asante Kotoko trainer has assembled the best possible squad to deliver the ultimate for the West Africans.

“We have a very formidable team, a team that won the WAFU. Given the circumstances we have and the option to use only home based players, we have chosen the best players to represent Ghana,” Darra told CampioneSports.net.

The Black Stars have drawn Libya, Ethiopia and DR Congo in group C.
