Communications Director of the Ghana Football Association Sannie Dara has rubbished reports that the President of the FA Kwesi Nyantakyi has resigned as a member of the FIFA Council.

Sannie Dara insists that those reports are false and mere fabrications and must be treated as such.

"It's not true that President Kwesi Nyantakyi has resigned as a member of the FIFA Council. Those reports are false.

“The same people yesterday reported that Kurt Okraku has been appointed GFA Vice President which had no iota of truth.

“Kindly discard the report. President Nyantakyi is still a FIFA Council member," Sannie Dara told 442gh.com

Reports had popped up on Wednesday afternoon that the only Ghanaian to be on the FIFA Council after four decades has laid down his tolls following a recent undercover investigative exposẻ by Anas Armeyaw Anas.

The CAF 1st Vice President has come under huge fire following news of the Exposẻ which according to the investigative journalist has videos of him using the name of Ghana’s presidency to lure investors into the country.

Ghana’s President Nana Akufo-Addo who was not pleased with the occurrence called for an investigation into the matter by the CID of the Ghana Police.

While the investigation is ongoing, there have been several twists to the real story of the Ghana FA Boss in the video with the latest being his resignation as FIFA Council member.
