Ghana FA Executive Committee member Kurt Okraku applauded referee Awal Mohammed after Hearts suffered a painful 1-0 defeat against Kotoko at home in the Super clash on Monday.

The Class-one referee discharged his duties to aplomb and has earned massive rave reviews.

The Tamale-based centre referee didn't appear nervous as he took bold decisions in the nerve-racking game at the Accra sports stadium.

And Kurt Okraku, who is also the Executive Chairman of high-flying Dreams FC, has lauded the match official.

"Referee Awal Mohammed has been fantastic today....Good refereeing,” he posted on his facebook page.

Mohammed showed marching off orders to Kotoko defender Edwin Tuffuor as well as Hearts 'shambolic' goalkeeper Soulama Abdoulaye.
