President of the Ghana Football Association Kwesi Nyantakyi claims his administration is working to lift women’s football in the country.

The bronze medal-winning feat of the Black Maidens at the 2012 FIFA U17 Women’s World Cup revived the ladies game in the country.

The women’s league commenced two seasons ago but without sponsorship but the Football Association has decided to bear the cost.

Nyantakyi says there are concerted efforts to make women’s football attractive.

“We are working hard to ensure that the women’s football become as attractive as the men,” Nyantakyi spoke to Spice FM’s Kuntu Blankson.

“Everything is a process and we are all humans. We need to take everything at a step and we are working hard in ensuring we get the women’s league to the level we all want it to.”
