Assistant Cameroon coach Ibrahim Tank has touted Ghana as favourites to win the 2015 Africa Cup of Nations having made it through from a difficult group.

The Black Stars recovered from a disastrous start to their campaign in Equatorial Guinea to finish as winners of Group C.

Avram Grant’s team await a CAF draw between Guinea and Mali on Thursday to know their quarter final opponent.

Ibrahim Tank0 however believes Ghana stands a good chance of breaking their Nations Cup title drought this term having qualified from a tough group.

“Ghana’s performance has improved since the opening defeat to Senegal,” he told Kessben FM.

“I think Ghana is a real favourite to win it this time around. The motivation in camp, I reckon is very high.

“They only have to hope their players don’t get injured along the way.”
