Clubs in the First Capital Premier League seeking to grab players ahead of next season will have the chance to tie them down from today as the Ghana Football Association has announced that the first window of the Fifa ITMS has been opened today, October 1.

Clubs who are willing to register professional players from other countries will be able to do so from Thursday till the system closes December 23.

All training compensation and solidarity contribution claims must be submitted and managed through the International Transfer Matching System (ITMS) via the new claims functionality.

Clubs are to note that they will no longer be able to submit a paper claim regarding training compensation and solidarity contribution by fax to the Fifa Players’ Status and Governance Department from 1 October 2015.
