Ghana defender Samuel Inkoom provided two assists in Platanias’ historic 7-0 thrashing of Kalloni in the Greek top flight.

The Black Stars full back who is on loan from Ukrainian club FC Dnipro impressed at both ends of the pitch as he helped the defensive unit keep a clean sheet while surging forward to provide extra support in attack.

The win – which is the highest margin in the club’s history – lifts the Reds from the foot of the table but they remain in relegation zone.

The resounding win eases pressure on Angelos Anastasiadis’ side who had suffered consecutive defeats in their last two league matches.

Inkoom was however booked in the 64th minute of the game played in Perivolia.

The 24-year-old’s return to form comes just in time with just under three months to the start of the 2014 World Cup.

The former FC Basel man is expected to make Ghana’s squad for the World Cup which will be hosted by Brazil.

In his last match for the BS against the Montenegro side his performance was so abysmal. He did not know when to return to the defense. At a point in time I thought he was the top striker of the BS. He was almost always nowhere to be found anytime the BS was being attacked especially at the right side of the defense. I was seeing more of Adomah instead of Nkoom. He was more or less a liability to the team rather than asset.

Thank you sticky straw. Some misanthrope boot lickers say we should shut up and cover the flaws of these players up, to go and disgrace us in Brazil.

At least he is getting game time which is good but to be very frank, inkoom has not been himself when featuring for Ghana and we lost to zambia because of pathetic pass to mayuka which resulted in their lone goal!! Against Tunisia in afcon 2012 too, his poor defending resulted in Tunisia equalizer and I hope he maintain this form to prove to us once and for all that he is indeed GHANA ROBERTO CARLOS!!! Boro is right!

Thank you selfmade. These are the king of constructive discussion we want at this forum. You have come out with facts and followed it up with your conclusion. Even if you had disagreed with these kinds of facts I can concede but not those who come to this site just to do PR stuffs and unnecessarily insults. All the same you are Kwaku Baako Junior as far as info on this forum is concerned!!!!!

Which form? 4 de wer? You guys should give us a fucking break!! Inkoom has always been a liability whenever he dons the national colours and will always be until he lifts up his game, a player that is playing for a relegation trapped Greek team is definitely not a B/S material he's only in the team cuz he's the son in law of our clueless manager. Its only in GH that mediocre players such as Inkoom, Afful, Sumaila, Lee Arday among other shit players will be appreciated. This will not happen in any serious football nation, we gotta be serious!!

Guys please let us air our views without insults. Eventhough sometimes Boro makes harsh comments he is entitled to his opinion. Inkoom for me must not be included in the team because he has lost his form since he left fc basel. Even if you look at the picture carefuly you can see that he has gained wait. The inkoom of fc basel has disappeared since his performace has gone down. For me i will rather take other options than inkoom.

Inkoom shouldn't have left Basel in the first place, he was one of the young prodigies playing in the Champions League. Look at him now, it's sad.
